Myself and Theuns will be hitting the dirt roads with our adventure bikes from the 8th to 25th August 2013 in aid of the West Coast CANSA Care Centre based in Malmesbury and the Children's Home in Moorreesburg. We are headed from Malmesbury to Malawi and the road ahead of us is 8 000km long! Malawi is the highest point in Africa and we aim to cover the distance in only 2 weeks for these two great causes. Theuns and I would appreciate it if you can make a donation towards the West Coast CANSA Care Centre we are supporting on this project page - click on the red "Donate Now" button on this page (top right).  https://www.givengain.com/activist/100214/projects/5537/
Funds donated on this page will go directly towards the costs of providing CANSA's holistic care & support to those affected by cancer in the West Coast region. Read more about CANSA's holistic care & support here: https://gigaf.org/11To30E

Should you like to make a donation towards the Children's Home, please note that you CAN'T donate on this page - please phone Kobus Smit, tel: 021-875 5724 or cell: 082 374 7458 to arrange for banking details.

The freedom found in riding a motorcycle is in the fact that you are forced to truly experience the picture perfect moment in front of you as you ride. Riding adventure bikes allows us to find these perfect moments on the roughest roads imaginable - Africa is the perfect spot!  No trip can be without the goal of planning to truly learn something from the journey - we will be experiencing the dust from the roads that form the body of this earth, the same dust from which we humans were formed by a Greater One who is in control of our soul, as it yearns for the freedom of the open road.
