Race Dog
good day ladies and gents,
so have started to ponder about gutting my "catalytic" converter thingy on my 2001 dakkie, are there any positives that come out of it? im looking for a little bit more noise due to the bike being soooooo quiet in traffic (possible some power change) but im not wanting to go too loud that i annoy the old farmers in the rural areas...
is this advise able to gut? or was thinking of bypassing the cat and bending a pipe that fits into the second baffle see the pic 1 .... therefore keeping the cat in original keep. Although im wondering if the second baffle can handle the increase in heat?
So looking for anyone who has attempted this for some advice? Being a Fairly technical fellow i don’t mind attempting this task but not keen to stuff up an original pipe for no glory
thanks
