Now there's a book that's been recently released in the US, called "Motorcycle Cancer?", which deals with the danger of motorcycles, not from the usual lack of ATGATT, but from the fact that a motorcycle's engine emits enough electromagnetic energy to create cancer.

According to the author, Randall Dale Chipkar, electromagnetic waves at low frequency produced by the engine are highly harmful at about 80cm around the engine, which affects a rider's legs and waist.

The author is using Swedish studies that establishes a relationship between the exposure of low frequency electromagnetic waves and a decrease of the body's production of melatonin, a hormone that helps fight cancer.

I don't know what you guys think about that, but I think motorcycle manufacturers should take that into consideration.

Now you know why BMW riders always stand!
