I want to revamp my mountain bike - power coating the frame etc. and want to tidy up the forks too.
Does anyone know the best way to do this - the fork looks a bit like this and on mine I woudl want to powder coat the bottom section
that is silver in this pic.
I am assuming that I would need to strip the forks to protect seals - is this tricky? If I do this what level of expertise would I require? If this is too complicated I will just leave it intact and strip the paint off, leaving bare aluminium.
Any tips most welcome.
BTW - frame is going to powder coating world in Milnerton exterior grade primer and white topcoat.
