Race Dog
After the AMID show on Saturday I head out home towards the west. It was way to early to go home so I decided to go and explore some. I took the first dirt road in a westerly direction I could find and just followed it. I had my GPS with me and after some kays I though I must try to get to Lanseria via dirt. 99kilos and 3:30 hrs later I got home, drenched by the rain. I could not get to Lanseria due to not being able to cross the Jukskei river but what a lekker ride. :thumleft:
There where some interesting bits but mostly easy riding. In some of the dead ends I tried was some nice mud monsters, not deep but very slippery. The DR650 handled everything without missing a beat. :thumleft:
Lanseria in the far back ground.
I found some very nice spots with beautiful views. Dirt roads going straight to Jhb on the horizon.
Here I'm just getting a little bit arty with PS.
There were some nice 'twee spoor paadjies' ...
.. and some river crossings I wasn't going to attempt.
The water was about knee deep and the Jukskei river was flowing fast.
Back at home, the DR650 tasted some first mud. An arty viewpoint.
