Recently while on my way to the National Bash I had one or two incidents where I picked up a really serious speed wobble at about 130 to 140 km/h. At the time I was quite heavily laden with a lot of the weight towards the rear and I thought it was that.
But it happened again a couple of times since then. And today I had the worst case of all...I thought I would get high-sided at one stage. Its usually when its windy or when I overtake ...the turbulence seems to start the oscillations.
It never happened to me before I fitted new tyres ...a Heidi on the rear and TKC80 up front. Knucklehead seems to think it could be the steering bearing. Any experience from fellow KLR dogs?
