Just like to introduce myself. My name is Niven. I have been visiting this site on and off for the past six months or so... and then I read that story written by the 3 lads that did that Angolan trip.
Epic. Gripping. Brutal!
In December we were camping in Pomene when a few lads came riding in from who knows where. They were going who knows where, but the feeling of adventure was contagious.
Strike 3, was chatting to a few folk at the AMID show this past weekend.
I ride a dirt bike and have done 1 or 2 enduro events, but always at the back of the field.
The fact that they want to/have opened a class for the dual sport bikes at these events is enticing.
So at my age, I think its time.
