I'm starting to plan a little trip as shown in the map below. The map is only a rough idea. At the moment it looks to be around 5000 kms. The planning is still in its infancy and would appreciate some recommendations and Thoth's on the trip. The plan is to ride a fair amount of dirtroads. I have a few questions:
> How rideable is the dirtroads in Namibia with Michelen anakee's? It obviously varies from road to road. Is it re comended to swap them out for TKC's or something else for the trip?
> What roads / stops are re comended along this route? Any nice gravel roads with not to much sand that can be re comended? Any roads to be avoided?
> When is the best time to go?
I estimate about 20 days, with 2 x 3 night breaks somewhere along the route, one of which would be at Vic falls. I would appreciate some recommendations.
