Hello, I am new here. I have just purchased a 1982 R80GS, and I am already besotted with the thing.
I am a daily commuting motorcyclist, but this is my first experience with adventure riding. The last time I owned a duel purpose type motorcycle it was still called a street scrambler! Adventure bikes weren’t invented yet.
Anyway, I will need lots of advice while familiarizing myself with this bike, so please have patience with me.
First newbie question. I need a spare key cut. Are the blanks commonly available, or do I have to go to BMW?
