My name is Andy and I recently bought a 1998 Honda XR 600. I live in Durbanville. My plan is to go touring so if there are any pointers and things to know regarding my specific bike and touring please help! Thus far I've only bought a new handlebar and raisers which helped quite a bit in raising the handlebar height. Top speed is a bit low at 100km/h, but I am more than willing to trade in some power (way too much for me now) for more top speed. Any ideas? Should I try to keep the front/back sprocket ratio the same? Should I fit a new front sprocket or back sprocket?
Otherwise I will be reading the different forums and try to learn as much as possible.
