Hi - have been following this forum for some weeks now, and am in the midst of a serious mid-life crisis.....so best option buy an Adventure Bike!! Just wrote my learners with a group of 17year olds (guess they were wondering what gramps was doing there). I used to have a XT500 some 15 years ago which I gingerly rode around (illegally) waiting for it to either kill me with its front wheel speed wobble, or break my shin bone (still have the scars!). Man that bike liked biting my right shin! Anyway it was either me or the bike and the bike had to go, unfortunatly along with my bike trailer (that was stupid). So here I am some years down the line looking for a new bike (Thinking Dak or Transalp - any suggestions?).
