Good afternoon members,
I am new to this forum, but have been reading for quite a while. I have been riding on and off for many years and bought a bike again about a year ago when I decided to get a 125CC for my son. I am so happy that I started again and am now quite keen on eventually starting a project bike.
I love tools and working with my hands in my spare time, but have absolutely no knowledge of restorations. So, my plan is to start low key by doing own maintenance and upkeep and move on from there. For that reason I am looking to buy one of the airheads that I remember from my childhood days. Something like a R80 or R100. I will look to buy one in decent shape and try and keep it as original as possible.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I will ask in one of the other forums.
I hope to also meet people in George doing their own projects.
