Newbie

So I've been a guest for probably a year, a member for just over a month (it's taken me that long to figure out how all this works) and this is my first post.  I've been commuting on a bike for just over four and a half years, I just about ride irrespective of the weather and have enjoyed every minute.  So all of that by way of introduction. 

From where I stand, this is a fantastic forum and has been an invaluable source of information, especially for somebody who is relatively new to biking, for which I thank you all.

I'm not sure if my avatar will show up, but I guess I'll find out shortly.  If not, I'll still figure that out.  I've been "hidden" up to now as I had not yet introduced myself.  Now that I have, I'll update my profile.

So all that is left is for me to say hello to you all.
