I've been browsing the forum for a while now. Friend got me on a motorcycle in December last year after not riding for about 17 years and since then I've been unable to scratch the itch, that is till a month ago when I purchased a 2000 R1150GS with 26k on the clock. She is in excellent condition and if it was not for my ears the smile would have gone right around ;D
Getting used to all the sounds and have posted my first couple of questions in the 1100/1150 section. Looking forward to learning more about the GS.
Have done a number of 4x4 "overland" trips over the years and now looking forward to doing some more on two wheels 8)
