Hi, I have been member for a while, but never actually took part in any discussions because I felt that I could not call myself an adventure rider yet. I have only been riding for 5 years and had one trip into the Karoo, which I finished in an ambulance.
But since the later part of last year I took it a bit more serious - practiced (like tonight in the rain, in the mud). I have been up Gannaga pass and down Ouberg and on a lot of farm roads. So now I can start to call myself a newbe - even though I put 49000km on my KLE.
We are planning a trip though Seweweekspoort and to Die Hel over Easter. Any advice would be welcome. We have booked and got the necessary permissions. We will be staying at the Calitzdorp Spa (Is it OK there?)
