I've been a member for a while, but have never gone to the trouble of introducing myself, so here goes:
I'm Stefan Sonnekus, aka Stefanred. I'm based in Paarl, Western Cape and currently ride a BMW 1200 GS Adventure (2006).
Previously owned a '83 Yamaha TT 600 (my first bike I bought from Roger Ryder Motorrad Kane-Berman), which was a bit sat but at least got me to riding without training wheels! It died a peaceful death and I moved on to a BMW 1100 GS (for about 40 000 km) and then another 1100 GS Anniversary Edition (for about 30 000 km).
Now I am the very proud and satisfied owner of a 1200 Adventure with over 100 000 km on the clock, and still going strong (just went on a lekka trip to the Cederberg on it: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10205128441314439.1073741831.1346552024&type=3
So I look forward to becoming an active member of this community, and hopefully riding on a few adventures with y'all!
