So today I rode with my buddy who was running in his new KTM1190R.
We get to Botrivier and enjoy a great breakfast and chat about after care service from KTM vs BMW.
As time came to leave my old faithful fired up but then died.
Turn of and on I realize there's no distinct whine from the fuel pump :xxbah:
After a bit I find the fuel pump fuse blown, replace it and same thing.
She fires up and dies, but this time fuse is not blown and still no whine from pump.
I swop out first hooter relay then ABS relay.
Still no fuel pump whine
Then came the shame of getting onto the back of the KTM to get a lift home to fetch a trailer :-[
Last problem is that when she was pushed into my garage back home I turned on the key and she made a clear whine from the pump and sprang to life.
1)where was the fault
2)who has felt how dang fast that new KTM is?
