Oil change on heated bike?

For the oil experts, I have a question.

My bike over heated the weekend, and I want to know if I should change the oil. I did not at time check whether or not it 'foamed'.

800gs, running Castrol Actevo.

PS: I found the problem, in case. Just need to know if I should do a oil change.
