Hi everyone,
I've noticed that there's quite a bit of oil on the left side of my engine block... It seems to come from the semi-circular plug that I've highlighted in the photo attached... What does this plug cover, and is it something that I should be concerned about? I'm planning to take it to BMW this week. Its not dripping oil, but I notice its quite wet after a ride.
I've checked the oil level, and its normal.
(Its an 800GS, 13 000km)
