Hi guys, before I go ballistic, I spray paint now and then , and followed the instructions for setting up the gun. It is a normal HLVP bottom range.
Sometimes the stuff I spray looks acceptable , but lately I am struggling with orange peel,not much but it is there, the bigger the object the more I struggle.
The paint I use is Luxor 2k with fast hardner, and 300 thinners, mixed at 1 part paint, 2 part hardner and 10% thinners.Gun is about 15 cm from object, pressure at end of line 4 bar. I spray a nice wet goat with out runs.
The question I have .
Is it to hot when I paint @ may be 25C
Must I allow more time between coats, I am a bit impatience with this one.
Pressure to high [ when lowered I struggle with fan width on large objects.
Or must I just accept, that it is technique.
