Parking at Gautrain station

Morning all,

I've been seeing a lot of guys leaving their jackets and helmets on their bikes (those without topboxes) when parking at the Gautrain station. I'm not brave enough yet to do that without a locking them (as some of the guys do) to the bike somehow, so I'm thinking of getting one of those bicycle "u-locks" to lock my helmet to the bike?

Recommended, or not?
