I recently bought a `98 XR 600 ,the bike is still stock and in very good condition ,now i`m trying to decide if i should turn it into a DS bike or go full off road. I`m not sure what will be needed if i go either route , as far as i can guess the DS route i will need some sort of screen for wind protection ,the bike already has DS tyres and a long range tank ,maybe a cush hub ? Also if i go the off road route i think i might have to look at changing the front shocks ? I know a couple of guys here have these bikes and use them for both DS and off road ,so please give me your opinions.
