Re-waterproofing my jacket.

I've had my riding jacket (rstaichi textile) now for ± 3 years and it is starting to be as waterproof as a T-Shirt.

Is there a cheap/reliable way to make it waterproof again? I've tried some spray-on stuff I had lying around the home that we use for our outdoor waterproof jackets but it doesn't seem to work very well.

Any advice?
