Renting a bike or ship or buy and sell?

Hi,

For a two months roundtrip Southafrica Mosambik Malawi Tansania Kenia Sambia Bottswana Namibia i would like to know would it be better to rent a bike (where? how much will it be) or to ship our own bikes from europa?

Which companie is best for shiping?

At the end would it be possible to sell more then 10 year old bikes in Southafrica or better to ship them home again?

Or could we even buy bikes at gumtree and register them as tourists?
