A buddy and I have been planning a trip around South Africa for some time now and the departure date (15th Dec) is rapidly approaching. I haven't set much of a schedule or even a route. It'll just be the two of us and apart from the first night in Clarens we'll be camping. The little planning I've done follows -
15th- 4pm Leave JHB and head down to Clarens (booked a room)

24th- Arrive in Cape Town
1st- Depart from Cape Town

4th- Arrive in JHB
Now I have a few idea's of where I want to go and what I want to do but I'd really appreciate some input (good roads, passes, camp sites, restaurants and so on...) GPS co-ordinates would be tops . Please just reply here and I'll build it into my trip.
