Race Dog
On 28 December 2014 we stopped over by fellow dog Arno Roux, abusing his hospitality by arriving late, sleeping, and leaving. No visiting or anything.
But before we went to bed, around 1h00 in the morning he took me outside and lifted a sail, showing me a late 1930's DKW.
That lasted all off 1 minute, but awoken something inside of me. Maybe is was because I was tired, maybe because the light was bad, but I got a bit of a pregnant fairy warm fuzzy butterfly feeling. All I know, I wanted it.
So over months of chatting to Arno, chatting with swambo, and spending hunderds of hours online hunting for spares which is not online, we finally decided - WE WANT IT.
Not long after I saw it, I asked Arno for some pics, and this are them.
