So my bike went in for a 20 000km service and a new front tyre went on. I got another Metz Tourance (which is OEM out of factory).
I got the bike back and at 90kph and up a whine has surfaced. This was on collection. Dealer tells me that its the tyre. I am a bit concerned as I cannot remember this whine on the bike from new.
If i turn my head sideways, and pull clutch in the whine is still there and sounds like its coming from the back. However this could be because I'm moving forward.
On the centre stand, I can't hear the whine when in 6th gear at 100kph (dangerous I know!).
Could this really be the tyre or a wheel bearing?
My issue is that this wasn't there before the service.
