Sani Pass- How long up and down?

Im staying over in Underberg in December and then making my way via Naudes Nek to Cathcart the next day. Since Im in the area I thought about getting up early and then doing a ride to the top of Sani and then coming back down collecting my stuff from the Backpackers and heading off on the next leg. How long does it take to do Sani Pass to the top and down? Will be riding a light R80 G/S and have intermediate off road riding skills.
