Mite have mentioned it before , but when I decided to buy myself a adventure bike one criteria was that I needed to go for a ride at least once a month and not just a breakfast run , but a weekend away ride . Last year we did so , some times we missed the once a month ride , but made up for it with a long ride in December .
Last month and two weeks after the holidays withdrawal had us go on a quick get away to Sabie . For this months ride I plan to go to Lesotho next weekend.
Plan
depart on friday afternoon and take a easy ride to Clarence via the N3 and then Frankfort . Saturday morning head to Caledonspoort and then make our way up the mountains , and on to Sanitop for lunch . After lunch head back to Clarence and then on Sunday after breakfast head home . could have a pit stop at Afriski .
