Searching for FARM Names on BASECAMP with TOPO maps

Quick one –can someone help?
Is there a way to search Garmin’s topograph maps for farm names and geographic features using Basecamp?  I am still running a mapset from 2008, and i can display the farm names, but cannot search them.
