So its service time again , bike is in pieces ,did the valve clearance over the weekend , radiator removed to clean the fins , and new coolant to go in . My rear disk has some play so removed the wheel to take disk in to engineering for new rivets , my guy could not make new , just re riveted the old ones , Me not happy , but the disk will have to make do for a bit , new one on order .
What is quite craze is how dirty the bike is under the covers, I wash my bike often , and try to clean everywhere , but after removing the wheel there was plenty chain wax on the inside of the swing arm that one seldom get to in order to clean .
valve clearance was very close , only one shim required on the exhaust valves . rest in spec .
