After changing my steering bearings this weekend, I noted a lot of wear on my steering damper.
Except for the obvious groove caused by the pin, there is about 3-5mm play on the distal end of the rusted metal plate.
I would like to service it and make it good as new, but can't find any guides on the internet?
Is that groove in the unit normar, or could that be wear from loosening? ( It did rattle loose at one stage )
Any advice?
