Ok, this is one of those threads were I already made up my mind but still want someone to agree with me
KMSA are selling new Pegaso's (2010 MY) for R70k, only R4k more than a new KLR.
Since I'm not into hectic trail riding but more relaxed cruising on district roads kind of stuff, I think the little Priller will be a nice all-round scoot.
For those unfamiliar with it, the Pegaso is basically a sexy Italian version of the XT660R with a proper adjustable screen...okay, not really but they share the same engine
I haven't taken one for a spin yet but I'm sure the Aprilia will be much pokier than my KLR to the point where I will consider doing long distance tar riding with it as well. Which brings me to the next point...if it does tar comfortably then I won't really need my road bike (which I use very seldom anyway) and basically replace two bikes with one new bike. It's a win win!
So come on, tell me it's a good idea! 8)
