Have been talking about doing the BAM road (or a least the Western part of it), through Siberia in summer of 2013, for quite some time.

Here is a link to a great RR from a guy over on ADVRIDER.

Am looking for folks who may be interested in joining me. I will warn, however, that there are parts that are NOT for the faint of heart. There is the infamous Vitim bridge to cross, with no real alternatives!

Let me know if it sounds interesting. Am looking for a very SMALL group (3-5 riders total). We'll need to ship the bikes over to Russia.
Bikes will need to be lightweight, durable, reliable. Will need to learn some Russian language, and also learn at least a little Cyrillic for the road signs, etc.
Budget is actually quite low, plan on $75-$100/day once everything is there.
3 weeks needed (at a MINIMUM).....perhaps longer.
Physical endurance, fitness, and a good/mild temperament are essential for a trip like this. (I will have to work on fitness myself!!!)
Let me know if you're interested, and we can take it from there. It's my experience that interest wains as we get closer to the time, but that's OK as long as I have at least 1 100% committed other person. I'm really not interested in doing it alone. (Wuss!)
