**SOLD**

I have decided to finally put my Goldwing up for sale. It is my hope that someone who appreciates these machines will take over this beauty and treat it well  :)

Here's the rundown:
I bought the bike late into 1995 and had some work done on the engine because there was a problem with gear selection. At this time I replaced one of the gear selectors.
At the same time I had the head off to check all pistons and rings etc., timing belt was checked too – all was in order. The right hand cover has a crack on it which the previous owner ‘repaired’ with some sort of putty (see image ‘DSCF0074’).
At the same time I had the bike resprayed by a company called ‘Kaleidoscope’ in JHB who were credited as being one of the top paint specialists at that time. Some years later I replaced the fuel pump. Other than that, I have never had any issues with the bike while it was in daily use.
The bike has been standing for many years now and will need a good clean up and replacement of some seals etc. The tyres only have a couple of hundred km’s on although they have been on for a long time.
I recently put fresh oil in and a new set of plugs. When I started it up, it took a bit of effort but it ran. The engine will need a good tune up to get it purring again.
Unfortunately, the brake fluid reservoir recently leaked and dripped onto the right hand ‘tank’ panel causing a small paint bubble in a stripe – most infuriating.
The bike has just over 88 000km on the clock and all licenses and paperwork are in order and up to date - registered 'till 28 Feb 2017.

I would like to get around R25k for it but am not sure of its value so open to reasonable offers. It's not a matter of 'have to sell' but rather one of letting someone else enjoy this masterpiece the way it should be enjoyed. The bike is in Vanderbijlpark, so please feel free to contact me if you're keen to know anything about the bike or would like to arrange to view it.

This is what she looks like:
