So I have bought a KTM 950 ADV and the Africa twin has to go. My financial minister at home said that I can’t keep both
This is a 2000 Honda XRV750 RD07A Africa Twin. It is in great shape and runs really well. I have spent some money on it for maintenance and preventative maintenance. As you see the bike in the pictures is how you will get it. Obviously I’ll give it a wash and I’ll clean the sprocket and chain. When I bought the bike in June 2019 I replaced the tires with the set of Heidenau K60s. I bought the bike on 48k Km and it now stands at 54713 Km. I have serviced the bike 4 times since I got it.
The following has been done since I bought the bike;
Replaced the battery (June 2019)
Replaced the tires (June 2019)
Replaced the wheel bearings (Aug 2020)
Carbs rebuilt by Offroad Cycles (Nov 2020)
Forks rebuilt and preload spacers put in (Nov 2020)
Main relay for bike replaced (Nov 2020)
Seat re-covered (Nov 2020)
Coolant system flushed (Nov 2020)
Rear brake pad replaced somewhere in 2020, can’t remember when.
I took the bike down to the coast for December vacay and had a really good time.
The bike comes with the following;
Givi panniers
Oxford magnetic tank bag
Oxford tail bag
Shad topbox with its base plate that I haven’t had the time to mount.
Original exhaust
Throttle lock “cruise control”
Extra clutch cable
A few extra brand new spokes
Brand new set of front brake pads
A Kerker K45 exhaust. I think it will fit the bike better that the current exhaust. Current exhaust is off of a Husqvarna dirt bike. Bought the bike like that. Sounds really good but does not fit the bike.
Bike has a K&N filter fitted and the carbs are tuned for it.
All paper work up to date and on hand. Bike is in Pretoria Moot area.
