I am selling my HONDA CBX250 Twister, asking price R17 000
Bought the bike a year ago from a guy in Nelspruit, he used it as a delivery bike.
The idea was for my wife to start riding, by learning on this bike. It is nice and low, and can run at highway speeds if needs be.
But alas, she never gathered enough courage to learn past the driveway clutch control.
I was the only one riding it for short runs in town, max 60km the past year.
This bike runs great, and accelerates very well.
Even with my big ass on it, it goes to 140km/h quickly. I have not taken it past this, as it has not been on the open road.
Current odometer reading is 15 8775km.
Battery is flat, but I will replace it.
It has new tyres.
I went through the electrical wiring, and replaced the indicator replay (They were not working when I bought it)
I initially took the bike apart (not engine), and gave it a good wash.
Wheels and chain have been cleaned and lubricated.
Carburetor has been cleaned.
The paint has a few marks, and the pillion foot pegs are gone (as with most delivery bikes, I think they attach the box there)
Neck bearing needs some attention (Not a big problem, but I can feel some twitching at times), I haven't gotten around to it yet.
The side panels have cracks, and either need refurbishing or replacing.
The seat has a small scuff, likely from a belt buckle
