Good day all, I am getting rid of my KTM 450 EXC 2003 either as is or for spares or whatever. I will take some pics this evening and add to this post if anyone is interested.
This bike has approx 2000km on it and is complete. The story is that I damaged the left engine casing trying to remove the oil screen bolt with a bolt remover tool from builders warehouse. Very expensive Sat afternoon this turned out to be :-\ So it has a damaged casing which I mended with Pratley. The bike starts on it's first kick and runs beautifully so it can be tested if someone wanted this as a project.
To cut a long story short, one could get a second hand casing or a new set from KTM @ R11k or $800 from KTM Twins or I am told that the casing could be repaired. Bottom line for me is that I am taking this opportunity to maybe slim down the garage, as a 300EXC or something may be in my future ;D
So I am open to any offer as the the carbs, suspension, cylinder maybe, frame etc may worth something to somebody. I would prefer to get rid of the whole thing but will consider selling the parts separately if I manage to sell most of it and then turf the rest.
