Captain Slow, SnakeyXT and myself is planning to travel Southern Mozambique around August. Thus far the planning is going to Moz, travel up Xai Xai, and spend a week in the area, traveling South, possibly through Kruger on the way back.
I want to hear recommendations about Southern Moz, places to stay, places to see, stuff to do, what is the roads like, prices, pictures, contacts whatever you got. Is Xai Xai recommended? Slow and XT is travelling from PE, so current planning is not to go further north than Xai Xai. I think we are leaning more towards a midyear break than a iron man run.
If I get my way, I want to catch a moerse tuna, or whatever fish there is, maybe get some diving in, and do a lot of boozing.
None of us have ever been there, so all comments and experiences are appreciated, even if you got some nice info on Kruger.
