I installed 3600 Lumen LED spots on my F800GS this weekend. They are amazing.
I took some pictures to show the difference between a set of 1000 Lumen LED spots mounted on a Honda 125 Estorm and 3600 Lumen LED spots installed on the BMW.
Look at the trow of the 1000 Lumen spots vs the throw of the 3600 lumen. The 1000 Lumen spots have a narrow throw and illuminates to the the first lamp pole. The 3600 lumen has a wide throw, illuminating the side of the road, and the beam goes way past the 2nd lamp pole.
See what it looks like from the wrong side. You will have to switch off both for oncoming traffic at night but the 3600 Lumen spots are monsters!!! You WILL be seen when commuting and seriously annoy any approaching brights-happy car at night.
The 1000 Lumen spots go for R420 a piece and the 3600 Lumen spots are R995 a piece.
