Quickly popped into Bavarian and spotted the 2 KTM's used by the Frenchmen going around the world. (Loic and Aurel)
Have been following them on: https://www.ride-the-world.net (The latest post about Namibia is well worth a read)
Looked for them everywhere - walked up to the KTM dealership but they were not there. On my way back they had just stared their bikes and were heading out. Had a quick chat to Aurel - said they were getting the bikes ready for shipping to South America in the next 2 weeks. They are doing a couple of talks before leaving SA - anyone have details?? - would be interesting to hear about their adventures straight from them.
Hats off to them for taking the plunge and doing such a huge trip. One day when I am big maybe
