So with some of my work I have to travel a lot in Africa which sometimes means that I am away from home for sometimes up to 3 months. During these times I simply disconnect the battery on my bike and charge it up on my return. Do any of you have a better fix for this problem?
I am aware that one can buy trickle chargers that will keep the battery charged. Which one to use and how efficient (and safe) are they? I saw one of these units that you plug into the lighter socket. Do they actually work?
