Hi all

Weird problem on my 660 z. When I slowly pull up to an intersection it seems as if the steering locks slightly. The slight acceleration has something to do with it I think.

I have to use a bit more force to turn the handlebar (too slow to lean over) and then suddenly it gives and I almost slam into the car next to me!

The tires are fine, it turns fine when standing still, the bike has 13000km on clock (still under warranty). I don't feel it at high speed, but that's because I'm counter steering and not turning.

I'm thinking there's something wrong with the steering head bearings.

Any advice out there? I'm about to phone Yamaha.

Thanks.
