I have removed the old subframe and replaced it with a new one. When I removed the old, I noticed most of the four bolts were damaged and also one was a foreign bolt and nut. So I ordered 4 new bolts.
The bottom two bolts fit into a thread cut into the frame. However on the top two bolts I only have one nut which i can use (other bolt and nut were foreign). When I asked KTM if they had one of these nuts for the other bolt, they could not find it on the catologue and were not too sure where these bolts tightened onto.
The photo below shows the new bolt with the used nut.
- what are these bolts supposed to connect onto?
- where can I get a nut similar to that shown in the photo, the thread is not the same as the thread of a strandard 10mm bolt?
