I have started to look for a summer textile mesh jacket and have seen 2 that are about 60% mesh and will be much cooler than my current jacket.
Linex have a Macna mesh jacket at about R2000 and WOA have a GPI Moto mesh jacket for about R1200
Do any of you own a GPI Moto jacket and if so is the quality good?
The GPI jacket comes with CE approved back,shoulder and elbow protectors. The Macna does as well but the back protector felt like a very thin sponge. The GPI comes with a winter lining that is removable and a rain lining than fits into a side pocket. The Macna has no additional liners and is R800 more.
I guess this opens up that debate again if we are to brand conscious.
