I opened up the cover below the instruments and "discovered" a connector with black and brown cables running from it. I tested it with a voltmeter and it appears to have 12 V there. A few questions springs to mind:
Does anyone know what this cable is for?
Is it linked to a fuse in the fuse box?
Would it be sufficient to power a small pump?
Where can I buy a connector to fit there?
Where can I buy a cable with power supply and mini USB plug to power my GPS?
Is it better to install a power socket or go directly with a USB plug?
