Top of the morning everyone

I have done the steering head bearings on my Dakar before and that went pretty well. Is it basically the same procedure for the Tenere? I'm talking more about the setting of the bearing. The handles should almost fall to one side on it's own? Or if you give the handle a good push on one side should go all the way against the stop and jump back a bit?

I'll get the bearings from Bearing Man here in Windhoek. I'd like to order the top and lower bearings before disassembly. Does anyone have the correct sizes? What about dust seals? I see there is a dust cover for the top bearing, but nothing for the lower. Is the top dust cover sufficient or will it be a good idea to install a dust seal/cover on the bottom bearing? ( Maybe to top bearing too?) That is if there is enough space.

Cheers,
N.
