To buy back or not?!

So I had an off with my transalp 700,damage R40250 All damage is cosmetic still , riding it.

I can buy it from insurer and fix it for all and all about R28000 BUT... then it is a code3!! :'( How much does code 3 reduce value?

What complecates things is that i imagrate in 4/5 months,but i want to ride alot before that. Book value R56k

What am i to do?

Will i get it sold without taking a loss?
