Was sitting at the lunch table yesterday and the idea came up to take a long ride for pizza & beer . first idea was to leave early Saturday , arrive , find accommodation , park off at POPEYES for pizza & beer , just have a great afternoon , Sunday ride home again . Plan then evolved to leaving on Friday afternoon , make a pitstop at Pyramids on Van Reenen's pass , up early , ride the boring straight rode to Escort , enjoy the twisty road down to Howick , make a detour to Bulwer and then via Ixopo -Harding to Popeyes .
pre book accommodation at the motel , very reasonable prices . and a walk across the road for pizza & beer :3some:
Thinking about the idea led me to post it here and ask who would like to join me? Yes its winter , yes it could be cold , yes there is snow forecast this week , but it could be a great adventure , chance to make new friends , enjoy your bike , have a good time .
I will make the bookings ( no @extra@ charge ) you pay your own way . All in I recon it would be around 4k , that is accommodation , food , tolls & fuel .
