Decided today at almost 8000km to change my oil so checked the air filter in case I need to replace that too.
Couple of questions as I am new to this:
1. Is it normal to have a slight black smudge on the air filter? (standard filter)
2. Also there was a tiny bit of oil in the bottom left of the housing near the hole which i presume can drain anything in there if need be. Is that normal too.?
3. I got her at 3400km and seems a bit loser now. How ever at idle there is a slight "ting" sound which I presume could be the valve clearance? they did it at 1000km apparently?
Just dont want to leave things to get worse till the 12000km service...
Also found this rubber on the floor after taking the right cowl off. Have no idea where it goes. Anyone know where this goes?
